Cannabis & Age Restrictions
1. Business Is Solely Responsible
Business is the licensed retailer and is solely responsible for determining whether, where, to whom and under what conditions any regulated product may be advertised, reserved, sold, transferred, picked up or delivered. Platform availability does not establish legality.
2. Licensing and Product Compliance
- Maintain active licenses for every location and activity and immediately disclose suspension, expiration, ownership change or enforcement action.
- Source only through lawful channels; satisfy testing, packaging, labeling, tracking, storage, recall and recordkeeping rules.
- Publish accurate potency, ingredients, allergens, quantity, category, warnings and restrictions.
- Remove recalled, expired, unavailable or prohibited items immediately.
- Comply with medical and adult-use distinctions and never make unsubstantiated therapeutic claims.
3. Verification and Limits
Business must perform all legally required age, identity, patient, caregiver, residency, purchase-limit and intoxication checks at the legally required time. Dispense’s age gate, account data or Request fields are preliminary conveniences only and may not replace Business verification.
4. Advertising and Promotions
Business will comply with channel, audience-composition, geofencing, warning, discount, giveaway, loyalty, billboard, influencer and other restrictions. Business will not target minors or represent cannabis as risk-free. Business must substantiate claims and retain approvals and records.
5. Pickup and Delivery
Business controls pickup and any delivery and bears all licensing, personnel, vehicle, routing, chain-of-custody, manifest, payment, verification, failed-delivery, return and safety obligations. Dispense is not a delivery provider and does not take possession.
6. Changes in Law
Business will monitor applicable law. Dispense may restrict jurisdictions, products, features or content without liability. Business will promptly comply with takedown or information requests and indemnify Dispense for regulated-product claims.
