# Explore Market Intelligence

Illustrated training guide. Example counts are from October 22, 2026.

## Market Intelligence

Market Intelligence summarizes observed public menus and promotions around your locations. This illustrated lesson uses Denver and Barre as examples. Open it from the company workspace when your account has Advanced Competitive Insights.

## Choose your market

Choose an owned location, then a five, ten, twenty five, or fifty mile radius. You can also choose a state in your footprint. Set the menu observation window to seven, thirty, or ninety days before comparing results.

## Read coverage first

Start with coverage, not the rankings. In our October twenty second checks, the Denver ten mile example had three hundred fifty mapped dispensaries and one hundred seventy four recent menus. Barre had seven mapped dispensaries and four recent menus after a coordinate correction. Smaller samples call for more caution.

## Explore assortment and brands

Use Assortment for observed categories. Brands shows how widely named brands appear on sampled menus, with a historical chart that loads when you open that section. These are menu observations, not market share or sales.

## Compare listed prices

In a larger market, choose a meaningful category and package. Open a group to see its middle range, brands, matching product names, and dispensaries. All listed products lets you search and page through the observations. Barre currently has no group meeting the two dispensary comparison threshold.

## Use the evidence carefully

Promotions groups advertised offers, while Observed changes compares saved menu counts. A changed count can come from capture coverage as well as assortment. Always check freshness and the source before using a finding in a business decision.
