About Alpha Blue
Alpha Blue, also known as Alpha Dream or Dream Diesel, is a sativa-dominant strain with debated lineage. While commonly cited as a cross between Blue Dream and Sour Diesel, some accounts suggest the latter parent may be NYC Diesel. The strain is noted for a complex flavor profile that balances a sharp, bitter fuel base with a prominent, sweet berry aroma and a hint of sweet skunk. Reported effects include a creative, euphoric lift that maintains sharp focus while building gentle relaxation. Potency is reported to range between 15-20% THC and 3-10% CBD. The strain gained significant recognition in 2011, securing second place for Best Sativa at both the Denver and San Francisco High Times Medical Cups.
Plant characteristics
The plant exhibits typical sativa growth patterns, reaching tall heights in both indoor and outdoor environments. It produces dense, spade-shaped buds characterized by bright green foliage, accented by red and orange pistils and a visible coating of trichomes.
