Big Sur
Big Sur is an indica-dominant hybrid from Ohio-based Klutch Cannabis, resulting from a cross between [[apres|Après]] and [[big-head|Big Head]].
About Big Sur
Big Sur is a recent indica release from Klutch Cannabis. This pairing draws heavily from a genetic lineage defined by fuel and floral profiles. The aroma is characterized by a contrast between cracked black pepper and heavy fuel notes, balanced by brighter undertones of lilac and tart berry. When the flower is broken down, the scent profile shifts toward a riper, sour-citrus fruitiness. Reported experiences suggest a nocturnal-leaning high, characterized by a physically settled, relaxed body sensation that begins with a subtle head-lift before transitioning into a calm state. This effect profile is consistent with the euphoric and creative traits often associated with its parent strains.
Plant characteristics
The buds are dense, resin-heavy, and coated in trichomes. The plant structure is expected to be compact, reflecting its indica-dominant nature. While Après typically exhibits a medium-sized, close-branching frame, Big Head is known to stretch slightly taller. The plant is generally considered to be of moderate cultivation difficulty, requiring experience with dense, resin-heavy indica varieties in an indoor environment. Flowering time for related phenotypes is reported to be between 58 and 70 days.
