Black Bubba
Black Bubba is an indica-heavy hybrid created by Humboldt CSI, recognized for its distinct blue cheese aroma and a progression from cerebral stimulation to deep physical relaxation.
About Black Bubba
Created by the team at Humboldt CSI, Black Bubba is a cross between the Canadian-bred The Black and the well-known Bubba Kush. It is distinct from the similarly named Bubba Black. The cultivar’s aroma is characterized by notes of blue cheese, wet soil, and pine after rain. These flavors carry through to the palate, where the blue cheese profile is joined by undertones of dark coffee and dank earth. Users report that the experience often begins with a sense of creativity and giggles before settling into a state of deep relaxation and eventual sleepiness.
Plant characteristics
The plant develops into densely packed bushes that typically remain under three feet tall when grown indoors. The flowers are forest and pine-green, accented by orange pistils and a coating of trichomes. When cultivated outdoors, the strain reaches maturity by mid-October, while indoor flowering cycles range from 49 to 63 days.
