Black Pearl
Black Pearl is a name shared by several distinct hybrid strains, each with unique genetic lineages and profiles originating from different breeders.
About Black Pearl
The name Black Pearl is applied to at least three distinct cannabis lineages. The version from Mr. Natural Seeds is a sativa-dominant hybrid resulting from a cross of Afghan Haze, Hawaiian, and Afghani. This iteration is noted for its sweet, creamy profile and uplifting, daytime-oriented effects.
A second version comes from the Northern California Natural Collective. While the exact genetics remain unconfirmed, it is thought to be a four-way cross involving Blue Haze, Blue Dream, Blue Mystic, and Mr. Nice. This sativa-dominant hybrid is known for its potent, talkative, and giggly effects, often described as a 'feel-good' experience that can lead to scattered thoughts.
A third version, primarily found in European markets, was created by the Finnish breeder DaHood Urban Seeds. This is an evenly balanced hybrid produced by crossing Black Water OG with Exodus Cheese.
Plant characteristics
The Mr. Natural Seeds version produces long, round flowers coated in a dense layer of resin. The Northern California Natural Collective version is characterized by nugs so dark they often appear black, accompanied by a fresh, fruity aroma reminiscent of a garden after rain, featuring notes of citrus, grass, pine, and blueberries.
