Blue Face

Bred by Seed Junky Genetics, Blue Face is an indica-dominant hybrid derived from a cross between a blue phenotype of Animal Mints and Face Off OG. The strain gained significant recognition through the work of Oakland-based Fig Farms and has become a fixture in various legal markets. Its reputation is bolstered by its success at the Emerald Cup, where it secured third place in the Indoor Flower category in 2022, followed by a first-place finish and Best in Show award in 2023. Users report that the strain is potent, often inducing a sense of calm and physical relaxation that can lead to couch-lock. The flavor and aroma profile is characterized by notes of redwood tree bark and ginger, accompanied by hints of rubber and a chemical undertone.
