Blue Frost
Blue Frost is a hybrid strain recognized for its heavy trichome production and complex flavor profiles, with two distinct versions attributed to different breeders.
About Blue Frost
The most widely recognized version of Blue Frost was created by the UK-based breeder Goldenseed, reportedly by crossing Jack Frost and Blue Monster. This iteration is characterized by dense, trichome-heavy buds that create a frosted, blue-tinted appearance. Its flavor profile is described as a blend of earthy, sweet, fruity, and floral notes. Users report a balanced lift that may spark creativity while settling tension, with some accounts noting flavors of berries, sharp cheese, and mint. A separate version of Blue Frost is attributed to the breeder Medicine Man Seeds. This variant features a different genetic lineage, reportedly crossing Platinum Cookies, Grand Daddy Purple, and Blueberry Diesel. This version is noted for being indica-leaning and producing a pungent aroma alongside blue and purple coloration.
Plant characteristics
The Goldenseed variety is described as a hardy plant that develops its signature icy blue hues when exposed to cooler temperatures during the final stages of its nine-to-11-week flowering cycle. The Medicine Man Seeds version is also noted for developing blue and purple tones.
