The genetics were developed through a collaborative effort involving breeder Chris Lynch of Compound Genetics, Cipher Genetics, and Umma, who created the strain by crossing Eye Candy with Apples and Bananas.

The strain gained significant attention following its performance at the 2023 Greenwolf East Coast Zalympix, where it secured first place in the Best Terps and Gassiest Flower categories, as well as second place overall. Users report a flavor profile characterized by blueberry notes, complemented by hints of honey and citrus, accompanied by a balanced effect described as mood-lifting and physically grounding.
