Blueberries

Blueberries is an indica strain bred by DJ Short, originating from a cross between Purple Thai and Thai landrace genetics. Developed in the late 1970s during the breeder's work with exotic landrace varieties, the cultivar earned recognition by winning the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2000 for Best Indica.

Those who have consumed Blueberries describe a euphoric, dreamy experience that balances head clarity with physical ease, eventually settling into a happy, long-lasting state of relaxation. The aroma and flavor profile are defined by rich, sugary blueberry notes, accented by soft floral undertones and a touch of earth. Its combination of old-school landrace genetics and a consistent flavor profile has made it a foundational cultivar that continues to influence modern breeding projects.
