Blueberry Headband
Blueberry Headband is a name shared by two distinct hybrid cultivars, each originating from different breeding programs and utilizing unique genetic lineages.
About Blueberry Headband
The name Blueberry Headband refers to two separate strains with different genetic backgrounds. The version produced by Humboldt Seed Organization is an indica-leaning hybrid created by crossing Blueberry and 707 Headband. This iteration is noted for its long-lasting effects, which are reported to provide both cerebral stimulation and physical relaxation, accompanied by fruity, spicy flavors.
The second version, from Emerald Triangle Seeds in Northern California, features a more complex lineage consisting of '76 Blueberry, Emerald OG, Cali Sour D, and Pre '98 Bubba Kush. This cultivar is characterized by a flavor profile described as a blend of berry, diesel, and pepper.
Plant characteristics
Humboldt Seed Organization’s Blueberry Headband plants are known to grow very tall, reaching heights of up to 3 meters (nearly 10 feet), and produce buds that display red and purple hues. Emerald Triangle Seeds’ version is described as a vigorous grower that produces large, elongated, and tightly clustered buds with long, beefy colas. This selection is also noted for its resistance to mold and mildew.
