Blurple
Blurple is an F1 hybrid cross of California staples Blue Dream and Mendocino Purps, known for its berry-citrus profile and balanced, relaxing effects.
About Blurple
Blurple, sometimes identified as Blue Dream Purple, is an F1 hybrid resulting from a cross between the California classics Blue Dream and Mendocino Purps. While its exact origins remain unverified, reports suggest the strain emerged in the mid-1990s from an unknown breeder. Users often describe the experience as a euphoric lift that transitions into deep relaxation, frequently noting sensual undertones alongside a prominent berry and citrus aroma.
Plant characteristics
The plant typically grows as a medium-sized, lanky hybrid that can reach heights of 5 to 7 feet if left untrained. It features copious side branching and exhibits distinct color changes, with stems transitioning from green to purple as the plant moves from the vegetative stage into flowering. The flowering cycle generally lasts approximately 63 days indoors. Outdoor maturation typically occurs in late September to early October in the Northern Hemisphere, or late March to early April in the Southern Hemisphere.
