Bob Saget

AliasThe BobOG Bob Saget

The Bob is a Colorado-born sativa hybrid, famously named after a misread plant tag, known for its unconventional chemical-forward aroma and a potent, cerebral experience that transitions into a heavy, sedative finish.

About Bob Saget

The Bob, also known as The Bob or OG Bob Saget, originated from a naming mishap by Tierra Rojo of New House Seeds, who kept the name after misreading a tag labeled 'SAGET' (intended to be SAGE x). This clone-only hybrid is a complex cross: a Fort Collins S.A.G.E. (a cross of Big Sur Holy and Afghani) pollinated with Hanis—a purple Kunduz Afghani phenotype blended with Pre-98 Bubba Kush and a 1994 Positronics Haze. The strain gained significant recognition in the Colorado market, placing 2nd at the 2016 Colorado Cannabis Cup.

Users report an intense, often 'edgy' or 'racy' experience, providing thought-provoking energy suitable for solo creative tasks or gaming rather than social interaction. This initial stimulation eventually gives way to the influence of its indica genetics, resulting in a spaced-out, elevated, and heavy comedown. It is often described as a potent experience that may be overwhelming for beginners.

Plant characteristics

The plant features towering bract stacks with minimal leaf coverage. The buds often display gray-purple hues and are covered in a dense, 'cornrowed' layer of trichomes. Its aroma is frequently described as bizarre, featuring sharp chemical notes reminiscent of acetone or nail polish remover, balanced by undertones of chocolate, sage, and spice.
