Bomb Popz
Bomb Popz is a hybrid strain recognized for its vibrant, candy-colored appearance and a flavor profile that balances tropical fruit and creamy sweetness with gassy, diesel-like undertones.
About Bomb Popz
Bomb Popz refers to two distinct genetic lineages that share a common aesthetic and flavor profile, often leading to confusion in the marketplace. The version from the now-retired breeder Sci-Fi Genetics is a cross of ChemDawg Guava, Creamsicle, and Blue Steel F2. This iteration is characterized by a terpene profile featuring caryophyllene, limonene, and myrcene, resulting in aromas of tropical fruit, creamy vanilla, and berry-gas funk. Users report that the effects are initially talkative and creative, eventually transitioning into a state of physical relaxation.
A second, simplified version—sometimes referred to as Bomb Pop—is documented as a cross of Blue Steel and ChemDawg Guava. This variant omits the Creamsicle genetics, focusing instead on a profile that emphasizes berry-gas sweetness and a diesel backbone. The flavor is described as tangy, creamy, and fruity, with reported effects that are social and uplifting, maintaining a calm, approachable quality.
Plant characteristics
The flowers of the Sci-Fi Genetics version are noted for their dense structure and swollen calyxes. They are heavily coated in trichomes and exhibit distinct streaks of blue, pink, and white. The second version is also described as resin-heavy and colorful.
