The strain gained recognition after winning the breeder's 2018 Phenotype Mega-Hunt, a selection process that evaluated over 10,000 individual plants to identify this specific profile. It was subsequently featured in the Grow Off Competition, where 50 different cultivators grew the strain across diverse environments.

Analytical results from the competition highlighted the strain's capacity for high terpene production, with one submission testing at 5.4 percent total terpenes. The flavor is characterized by a rich, sweet, and slightly salted burnt caramel profile, which transitions into gassy, petrol-like notes on the finish.
