Chem Dog #4, also known as Chemdawg #4 or Chem 4, holds a significant place in cannabis lore. The lineage traces back to a batch of seeds acquired by a Grateful Dead fan known as Chemdog, who reportedly sprouted the first set in 1991. This initial group included Chem Dog 91, Chem’s Sister, and Chemdawg D, alongside an unknown male that was reportedly disposed of. A second set of four seeds was sprouted in 2006, from which Chem Dog #4 emerged. Because this specific selection is considered to most closely resemble the original genetic profile, it is frequently referred to as the "Reunion Pheno." The strain is characterized by a pungent aromatic profile featuring notes of citrus, sweet earth, and pine, complemented by a flavor profile that carries similar earthy tones with a distinct fuel-like finish.
