Cherry Pop Tart
Cherry Pop Tart is a hybrid cultivar known for its sweet, pastry-like cherry aroma and a balanced, euphoric effect profile that transitions into physical relaxation.
About Cherry Pop Tart
Cherry Pop Tart refers to three distinct genetic lineages sharing the same name. The most common retail version, bred by Lit Farms, is a cross of Sundae Driver (FPOG × Grape Pie) and Cherry Dosidos F2. This Cherry Dosidos F2 was created by breeder Tristan Langwinski (Midwest Best) using Archive Seed Bank’s Dosidos and a clone known as "The Cherry" (Grandaddy Purple × Cherry Pie) from Dungeon Vault Genetics. A second version is a cross of High School Sweetheart and Wedding Crasher, though the breeder remains unconfirmed. A third iteration, sold as seed stock by Captain Seeds, is a cross of Cherry Pie and Gushers.
Regardless of the lineage, the cultivar is characterized by a bold cherry aroma with creamy, earthy undertones and notes of warm dough. The flavor profile typically features ripe fruit followed by a gassy, herbal finish. Reported effects often begin with a rush of euphoria and mental uplift, which gradually transitions into a relaxed, full-body calm. Users frequently note a building, tingly sensation and a state of focused creativity before the experience settles into a mellow headspace.
Plant characteristics
The buds are typically dense and compact, displaying deep purple and forest green coloration accented by bright orange pistils and a heavy coating of trichomes. When grown, the plant reaches 3–4 feet indoors and 5–8 feet outdoors. It thrives in warm, Mediterranean-style climates (68–80°F). Flowering occurs over eight to nine weeks, with some cherry phenotypes extending toward 65 days. Cooler nighttime temperatures can encourage the development of deep purple and merlot hues in the foliage.
