THE DISPENSE STRAIN GUIDE

Cherry Tart

hybrid

Cherry Tart is a hybrid strain known for its sweet berry and sour lemon flavor profile, often associated with an uplifting, focused, and creative experience.

About Cherry Tart

Cherry Tart features a complex and debated genetic history, as multiple breeders have released versions under the same name. One iteration, developed by LEDSeedz, is a cross of Cherry OG and Grass Monkey F2. A separate version from Raw Genetics originates from a cross of Cherry Pie Kush and French Toast. Additionally, Bred by 42 is associated with two distinct approaches: one crossing Cherry Pie Kush with Very Cherry, and another involving a selection of Cherry Tart F2 crossed back to Cherry Tart.

Regardless of the specific lineage, the strain is noted for a flavor profile dominated by sweet berry and sour lemon notes. Its aroma is described as more complex, featuring pine and citrus undertones attributed to a high limonene content. Reported effects typically include an uplifting rush of euphoria accompanied by increased creativity, talkativeness, and focus. Some patients have reported using the strain to manage symptoms of depression, fatigue, nausea, and appetite loss.

Plant characteristics

The plant produces fluffy, bright green nugs with warm undertones. The flowers are covered in thick orange hairs and feature a dense coating of large, warm-tinted, sparkling trichomes.
