Cherry Thai
Cherry Thai is a name shared by two distinct breeding projects, both centered on cherry-forward profiles but utilizing different genetic lineages.
About Cherry Thai
Cherry Thai exists as two separate, documented breeding lines. The most widely recognized version is a sativa-dominant cross attributed to Reeferman, which pairs Cherry Bomb with Oregon Purple Thai. This iteration is noted for a complex aromatic profile that balances cherry sweetness with diesel, herbal, and savory spice notes, often described as having an earthy, floral, and fuel-forward character.
A second, distinct version was developed by The Rev of Kingdom Organic Seeds. This line utilizes a Hawaiian Cherry Bomb F3—a combination of Hawaiian sativas and Cherry AK-47—crossed with two Thai landrace varieties: Batdambang and Juicyfruit Thai. The Rev later selected a female from this line for breeding Chunky Cherry Thai.
Reported effects for the Oregon-origin cross include an upbeat, euphoric cerebral shift accompanied by a tingly physical buzz. Users often describe a sense of relaxation that remains functional, providing a lift without necessarily inducing sedation.
Plant characteristics
The Oregon-origin Cherry Thai is reported to produce loose, rounded buds of dark olive green. The foliage often displays purple hues, accented by fine orange pistils and a dense coating of trichomes. No specific botanical appearance data is available for the line developed by The Rev.
