Bred by Utopia Farms in Santa Cruz, California, Chiquita Banana (also known as C. Banana) is a reported cross of OG Kush and Utopia’s own Banana strain. Originally released as Banana OG, the strain was rebranded to Chiquita Banana following poor initial sales. It subsequently gained a reputation for high potency, with testing results reported by the breeder reaching as high as 35% THC. In 2015, the strain placed third in the Hybrid category at the High Times Cannabis Cup.
