Citral
Citral is an indica-dominant cultivar sourced by Nirvana Seeds from landrace genetics found near the village of Chitral, Pakistan.
About Citral
Nirvana Seeds created Citral by combining a landrace Hindu Kush with an unknown second landrace variety. The strain takes its name from the Chitral region where the foundational genetics were sourced. Citral is recognized for its performance, having earned 2nd prize for Best Hydro at the 2004 Highlife Cup. The sensory profile is defined by aromas of kush, earth, and musk, with flavors of kush, fresh soil, and chemical notes. Reported experiences suggest a progression that lifts the mood before transitioning into a state of physical relaxation and sleepy calm.
Plant characteristics
As an indica-dominant cultivar, Citral grows into short, fat plants characterized by heavy branching and broad fan leaves that require regular trimming. The plant reaches maturity in eight to nine weeks when grown indoors and is typically ready for harvest in late September in outdoor environments.
