Citronella

Citronella is a sativa-leaning hybrid characterized by a pungent aromatic profile of fresh lemon zest, skunk, and diesel. Its lineage is a cross between Grape Pie #12 and Gorilla Diesel #21, though the original breeder remains unconfirmed. The genetics are currently available as production-ready seeds through Phylos Bioscience. The flavor profile is layered, beginning with bright citrus notes that transition into earthy, skunky, and fuel-heavy undertones. Users report an energetic, sociable, and often giggly high that is well-suited for creative tasks or social settings, eventually settling into a gentle physical relaxation that does not typically induce heavy sedation. It is important to distinguish this cultivar from the unrelated Citronella Sky, which is a cross of Amnesia Lemon and Big Bud. Also known as Bong Buddies, the strain features lime-heavy notes backed by diesel funk and spicy pine accents.
