Cognac
Cognac is a hybrid strain with two distinct, potentially unrelated lineages: one historically linked to [[og-kush|OG Kush]] (formerly known as Hennessy OG or Hennessy Kush) and another bred by Boston Farmer.
About Cognac
The identity of Cognac is split between two different cultivars. One version, historically referred to as Hennessy OG or Hennessy Kush, is noted for its descent from the sativa-leaning OG Kush. A separate iteration, bred by Boston Farmer, is a cross between Cherry Cookies and Mimosa. This latter variety is characterized by a complex flavor profile featuring notes of tobacco and orange, underscored by sweet fruit and a pungent diesel aroma driven by a terpene profile of pinene, limonene, and caryophyllene. Reported experiences for this version suggest a balanced, slightly sedative effect that initiates behind the eyes before transitioning into a full-body relaxation.
Plant characteristics
The buds of the Boston Farmer-bred Cognac feature unique leaf structures and are covered in a dense layer of amber-tinted, sticky crystal trichomes.
