Curacao

Curacao was selected by the Oakland-based nursery Purple City Genetics by crossing Maltese Orange with Caribbean Cookies. The strain’s aroma leads with sharp citrus and sweet pineapple, rounded out by a creamy gas note. An earthy, doughy character, inherited from its Cookies lineage, sits underneath and becomes more prominent when the buds are broken open. Reported experiences are often described as euphoric and clear-headed, providing an uplifted mood that allows for focus. Others note a relaxed, settled feeling, making it a popular choice for afternoon or early evening use for those seeking a social, non-sedating effect.
