Demon Skunk
Demon Skunk refers to two distinct genetic crosses sharing the same name. One version, from Moab Genetix, focuses on a berry-forward skunk profile, while Terrapin’s version is a citrus-heavy hybrid. Identifying the breeder and parentage is necessary to distinguish between these two unique profiles.
About Demon Skunk
Demon Skunk encompasses two documented genetic identities, each offering a different aromatic and experiential profile.
Moab Genetix created their version by crossing Devil Driver with RKS V2 as part of a project to revive roadkill-skunk character. This mostly sativa expression is characterized by notes of berry and earth, underpinned by skunky aromas. Depending on the phenotype, the profile may lean toward gas and berry or earthy fruit. Moab notes that the effects are comparable to Skunk #1, describing them as potent but suitable for daytime use.
Terrapin offers a separate iteration created by crossing Devil’s Lemons with Grapefruit Durban. This version shifts the focus toward sweet citrus, balanced by notes of spice and earth. Reports suggest this version provides a more tranquil, relaxing experience, contrasting with the daytime-oriented nature of the Moab release. Because these are distinct crosses, the shared name does not indicate a shared lineage or effect profile.
Plant characteristics
Terrapin’s version is characterized by bright, vibrant buds. Moab’s version is documented as regular seed stock that exhibits fast, hardy vegetative growth, though it is noted for being sensitive to nutrient levels.
