Don Shula

Don Shula is a hybrid strain that gained recognition in 2016 when a submission by Dank by Pank secured third place for Best Hybrid Flower at the Colorado Cannabis Cup. The strain is a cross between The White and Diagonal, the latter of which is a cross of True OG and East Coast Sour Diesel. The strain is named in honor of the late NFL coach and former defensive back, famous for his tenure with the Miami Dolphins.

In terms of sensory profile, the strain is frequently noted for its heavy diesel aroma, complemented by bright citrus notes and an underlying pungent pine character. Laboratory analysis typically identifies limonene, myrcene, and caryophyllene as the dominant terpenes. While it is a mostly indica hybrid, users often report that the experience is more energizing than sedating, leading many to categorize it as a suitable choice for daytime use.
