Dutch Berry
Dutch Berry is a hybrid strain selected by Washington-based breeder Artizen, recognized for its sweet, berry-forward flavor profile and uplifting, energetic effects.
About Dutch Berry
Dutch Berry is a hybrid cross between DJ Short Blueberry and Dutch Treat. First brought to prominence by the Washington-based breeder Artizen, the strain gained recognition in 2016 when it won the Dope Cup award. While often described as sativa-leaning in its effects, the strain is noted for its "creeper" quality, where the high takes time to manifest before becoming quite potent, making it a choice often recommended for experienced consumers. Users report feeling uplifted, energized, and inspired, finding it well-suited for creative or social activities. The flavor and aroma are characterized by prominent notes of blueberry, vanilla, and earth, underscored by a skunky base. More nuanced palates have reported detecting hints of rosemary, blood orange, and pistachio.
Plant characteristics
The plants exhibit an indica-leaning growth structure, developing into squat specimens with dense, leafy branches and sturdy stalks. The buds are dark green in color, accented by orange pistils and a coating of icy trichomes.
