About Dutch Dragon

Paradise Seeds sourced the genetics for Dutch Dragon in Swaziland during the 1980s, refining the African landrace into a stable cultivar. The strain is characterized by sweet, mild fruit aromas and a flavor profile defined by citrus notes, specifically tangerine and orange. It earned industry recognition by winning first prize for Best Bio at the 2006 Highlife Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. Users report an energizing and focused experience, often accompanied by feelings of euphoria and creative stimulation.

Plant characteristics

As a sativa-leaning landrace, the plant can reach heights of up to nine feet in its native West Africa. It is noted for being somewhat challenging to cultivate, though it is capable of producing yields in both indoor and outdoor settings. When grown indoors, the plant may require height management and responds well to the Screen of Green (SCROG) training method. Flowering typically occurs over a period of nine to ten weeks indoors, with outdoor harvests occurring in late October.
