Ethiopian
Ethiopian is an heirloom sativa landrace originating from the mountainous regions of Ethiopia, preserved and refined by ACE Seeds to maintain its wild, traditional characteristics.
About Ethiopian
Ethiopian is a pure sativa landrace sourced from the highlands of Ethiopia. Unlike modern hybrids, this strain remains largely unaltered, representing a historical genetic lineage. The preservation work was conducted by the Spanish breeder ACE Seeds, known for their focus on landrace stabilization and the maintenance of endangered genetics, such as Malawi and Golden Tiger.
The aromatic profile is characterized by notes of sun-baked soil, lemon zest, and dried herbs, complemented by subtle undertones of spice and incense. On the palate, it presents a woody citrus flavor profile with hints of floral musk, pepper, and pine. The terpene profile is dominated by myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene, and pinene.
Reported experiences emphasize a clear, weightless mental lift that promotes alert focus and calm energy rather than an immediate, intense onset. The strain is often noted for its functional nature, with THC levels typically ranging between 6% and 12%, though higher concentrations have been observed. It is also noted for containing approximately 2% THCV, which is associated with the appetite-suppressing qualities often found in African sativa varieties.
Plant characteristics
Ethiopian is described as a tall, long-flowering plant.
