Garlic Butter

hybrid
AliasGarlic Budder

Garlic Butter is a potent, savory hybrid known for its distinct spicy garlic and nutty butter profile, often associated with a heavy, hazy sense of relaxation.

About Garlic Butter

Garlic Butter refers to two distinct hybrid lineages. The version bred by Humboldt Seed Company, often referred to as Garlic Budder, emerged from a 2019 pheno hunt crossing GMO Cookies and Fortune Cookies. While Humboldt Seed Company typically avoids savory profiles, they developed this strain as a personal project driven by their interest in garlic. A separate version of Garlic Butter is bred by ThugPug Genetics, which is an indica-dominant cross of Peanut Butter Breath and Garlic Breath.

Both versions share a terpene profile dominated by caryophyllene, limonene, and linalool, resulting in a flavor profile characterized by spicy garlic and nutty, buttery notes. Users report that the strain is quite potent, often inducing a hazy, relaxed state that helps quiet racing thoughts or negative moods. Due to its heavy nature, it is generally not suggested for daytime use. Some individuals report using the strain to manage symptoms of stress, depression, migraines, and headaches.

Plant characteristics

The plants are described as tall and bushy with high yields. The flowers are extremely dense, displaying a forest green color with golden undertones, accented by long, thick orange pistils and a heavy coating of crystal trichomes.
