Gaslight

hybrid
AliasGas Light

Gaslight is a name shared by three genetically distinct hybrid cultivars, leading to significant ambiguity regarding the specific lineage of any given product.

About Gaslight

The name Gaslight is applied to at least three separate, unrelated breeding projects, making it essential to verify the specific breeder for any given batch. The first version, released by LIT Farms as feminized seeds, is documented as a cross of E85 and RS11. However, LIT Farms also lists a THCA flower product under the same name with a lineage of Wedding Cake and Blue Petrol. This second lineage matches the Gaslight cultivar bred by Sin City Seeds and sold as regular seeds, which is also the source for AAA Pharms' retail flower. It remains unclear if the LIT Farms flower product is a retail copy error or a separate sourcing of the Sin City genetics. A third, entirely distinct version was bred by Rebel Grown and released as regular seeds; this iteration is a cross of Doc 15 with a hybrid of Green Lantern and Double OG Chem.

Regardless of the specific lineage, the strain is generally characterized by fuel-forward aromatics, featuring sharp diesel and pine notes over an earthy, spicy base with subtle floral undertones. The flavor profile typically includes citrus and warm dough alongside a gassy bite. Reported experiences often describe a rapid onset of physical relaxation accompanied by a gentle, engaging euphoria. The naming confusion is a defining trait of the strain, as these three lineages share no common genetic history.

Plant characteristics

The plants typically develop dense, compact nuggets displaying deep purple and green coloration, accented by bright orange pistils and a heavy coating of trichomes. When grown, the plants reach 3–4 feet indoors and 5–6 feet outdoors, characterized by heavy lateral branching and dense bud sites.
