Golden Sands
Golden Sands is an 80/20 indica-dominant hybrid bred by Humboldt Seed Company in collaboration with Errl Hill, resulting from a three-way cross of GMO, Kashmir OG, and BlackBerry Kush.
About Golden Sands
Developed as a Bx3 backcross project, Golden Sands was specifically selected for its resin production, making it a notable choice for live rosin extraction. The aromatic profile is characterized by heavy notes of gasoline and funk, transitioning from an initial petrol and skunk scent into more nuanced layers of floral, sour, and earthy undertones. Users typically report an onset of creative euphoria and uplift, which eventually transitions into a heavy, sedative, and full-body relaxation. The strain is often noted for its potency and its ability to induce a couch-locking effect as the experience progresses.
Plant characteristics
The plant exhibits a compact, sturdy structure, reaching heights of three to four feet indoors and four to five feet when grown outdoors. It produces dense, conical spears that feature a color palette of bright green and purple. The buds are heavily coated in resin, with some phenotypes displaying distinct purple flaking that provides a dusted, geological appearance.
