Herijuana
Herijuana is a potent, old-school indica known for its heavy physical effects and earthy, hash-forward terpene profile.
About Herijuana
Herijuana is a classic indica cultivar that predates the modern era of dessert-forward hybrids. It was brought into wider circulation in the early 2000s by Woodhorse Seeds, who created the strain by crossing Petrolia Headstash, a Humboldt County indica, with Killer New Haven, a variety with reported roots in Kentucky. The genetics have since been further refined, with an Inbred Line (IBL) version notably offered by Sannies Seeds and improved by MotaRabel.
The profile of Herijuana reflects its throwback pedigree, favoring deep, savory notes over modern sweetness. The scent is characterized by earth, hash, sandalwood, and spice, with subtle fruit undertones and occasional floral cheese notes. Users report a heavy, physical experience that begins with deep relaxation and a tingling, numbing sensation. As the effects progress, a strong sense of sleepiness typically follows, making this a cultivar often associated with evening use or sedentary relaxation rather than social activity.
Plant characteristics
The plants are characterized by bountiful side branching and are well-suited for SCROG (screen of green) training. While the vegetative stage is relatively slow, the plants undergo a dramatic stretch during the first four weeks of flowering. The final structure is short and stocky, producing dense, resin-heavy buds with a glassy appearance. The flowering cycle is rapid, typically finishing indoors within 56 days of the 12/12 light cycle transition.
