Hippy Slayer
Hippy Slayer is an indica-leaning hybrid bred by Bodhi Seeds, crossing Dirty Hippy with [[roadkill-skunk|Road Kill Skunk]]. It is recognized for its earthy, pungent profile and a balanced effect that leans toward physical relaxation without necessarily inducing sedation.
About Hippy Slayer
Hippy Slayer was bred by Bodhi Seeds as a cross between Dirty Hippy and Road Kill Skunk. The Dirty Hippy parentage traces back to Afgooey and Blockhead. The strain later gained prominence when Greg “Chemdog” Krzanowski selected it for the Smash Hits lineup.
The flavor profile features an old-school combination of earth, pine, and spice. Chemdog has noted a resemblance to the Afgooey parent, while other accounts highlight a pungent, skunky edge accompanied by notes of sour fruit. A subtle sweetness persists beneath the dominant forest-floor funk.
Reported effects include a substantial body-heavy sensation paired with a calm headspace. While physical relaxation is the primary theme, users often report a concurrent sense of euphoria and a creative streak. The strain is frequently noted for stimulating the appetite; however, it is generally described as relaxing rather than a guaranteed sedative.
Plant characteristics
The plant is described as having a short, squat stature with relatively loose, wispy flower structures. The buds are noted for their olive green coloration, often featuring purple accents and a dense, pronounced coating of white trichomes.
