Jealousy Split

hybrid

Jealousy Split is a balanced 50/50 hybrid combining the genetics of [[jealousy|Jealousy]] and [[banana-split|Banana Split]]. It is characterized by a complex aromatic profile of diesel and pepper transitioning into floral citrus, and is noted for providing a euphoric yet relaxing experience.

About Jealousy Split

Jealousy Split is a hybrid strain resulting from the crossing of two well-known lineages: Jealousy (a Seed Junky Genetics creation derived from Sherb Bx1 and Gelato 41) and Banana Split (bred by Crockett Family Farms from Tangie and Banana Sherbet). While the specific breeder of this cross remains unconfirmed, the strain is recognized for its layered aromatic profile, which begins with sharp notes of cracked pepper and diesel before mellowing into a blend of lavender, vanilla, and citrus. Reported experiences suggest a balanced effect, characterized by a euphoric, uplifted mood accompanied by deep physical relaxation that does not typically inhibit creativity. Users often find it suitable for both social settings and quiet, relaxed afternoons.

Plant characteristics

The buds are dense and conical in shape, featuring an emerald green base with prominent purple hues ranging from forest to eggplant tones. The flowers are covered in pearlescent trichomes and accented by bright mandarin-orange pistils. When grown, the plant maintains a compact stature of three to four feet indoors, while outdoor specimens can reach five to six feet with a bushy, medium-density structure. The foliage may exhibit increased purple coloration when exposed to cooler nighttime temperatures.
