LA Beatnik

LA Beatnik is a hybrid strain created by Seed Junky Genetics, the Southern California breeding collective founded by Anthony "JBeezy" Hart. While the breeder is widely recognized for dessert-leaning cultivars like Wedding Cake, Jealousy, and Ice Cream Cake, LA Beatnik serves as an homage to the classic LA kush scene. The strain is a cross between Kush Mints and a Seed Junky OG selection.

The aroma is characterized by spicy, rich notes of fresh coffee, mint, and pine, underscored by a subtle citrus-diesel scent. On the palate, the strain presents a minty espresso flavor on the inhale, transitioning to earthy lemon on the exhale with a spicy finish. The terpene profile is reported to be dominated by limonene, caryophyllene, and myrcene.

Reported experiences describe the high as a gradual onset, beginning with physical relaxation in the shoulders followed by a sense of euphoria. Users generally describe the effect as tranquil and relaxed without reaching full sedation, maintaining a balance that is often compared to a slow, steady rhythm.
