Legend OG
Legend OG is a potent, indica-dominant phenotype of [[og-kush|OG Kush]] known for its heavy sedative effects and classic, pungent terpene profile.
About Legend OG
Legend OG occupies a somewhat mysterious place in the OG Kush lineage, where its reputation has outpaced its documented history. While generally regarded as an indica-dominant phenotype, its exact origins remain a subject of debate; THC Design attributes the original selection to Swamp Boys Seeds, though various California cultivators have maintained their own distinct versions of the strain over the years.
True to its roots, the flower exhibits a quintessential OG profile: a foundation of earth, gasoline, and pungent funk. This base is accented by sharp notes of tart citrus, floral undertones, pine, and wood. Users frequently report that Legend OG leans toward the heavier, more sedative end of the OG spectrum. The experience typically begins with relaxation and a sense of euphoria or creativity, eventually transitioning into a profound physical calm that often leads to sleepiness. Potency is a notable characteristic, with many modern batches testing in the 20% THC range, and some selections reaching or exceeding 30%.
Plant characteristics
The plant produces dense, light-green flowers characterized by orange pistils and a heavy coating of resin. The structure is typical of the OG family, often requiring support as the buds gain weight during the flowering cycle.
