Lemon OG

hybrid
AliasLemon OG Kush

Lemon OG is an indica-dominant hybrid known for its sharp citrus profile and rapid onset, typically associated with a heavy, calming physical effect.

About Lemon OG

Lemon OG, often referred to as Lemon OG Kush, is widely attributed to Apothecary Genetics in Northern California. It is a cross between Las Vegas Lemon Skunk and The OG #18, the latter being a specific selection of OG Kush. The strain is characterized by a distinct aromatic profile that balances bright, zesty lemon and skunk against a deeper, fuel-heavy pine backbone. Upon consumption, the initial sour-citrus notes often transition into a sweeter, earthier finish. Users frequently report a fast-acting experience that begins with an upbeat, clear-headed sensation before transitioning into a heavy-limbed, sedative state. Due to these effects, it is commonly utilized in the evening or for its reported ability to stimulate appetite. Apothecary Genetics' specific cut of this strain earned second place in the Outdoor Indica category at the 2018 Santa Cruz Cup.

Plant characteristics

The plant exhibits a short, compact, and bushy indica structure, making it suitable for smaller indoor environments. It has a flowering period of approximately 8 to 9 weeks (56–63 days) and typically reaches maturity outdoors by early October. While it is reported to thrive in warm, dry, Mediterranean-style climates, specific data regarding plant height and precise environmental requirements remain undocumented.
