Medicine Man is an Indica-dominant hybrid composed of Afghani, Brazilian, and South Indian landrace genetics. The strain was originally cultivated in the mid-1990s by Green House Seed Company under the name White Rhino. Following the departure of breeders Neville Schoenmakers, Scott Blakey (Shantibaba), and Howard Marks (Mr. Nice) from Green House, the genetics were brought to Mr. Nice Seeds, where the strain was renamed Medicine Man. The flavor profile is characterized by a blend of sweet blueberry, earthy skunk, and subtle chestnut notes. Reported effects typically involve deep physical relaxation that transitions into a state of sleepy contentment.
