Mintz

The name Mintz—or Mints—functions more as a category than a singular, well-defined cultivar. Because the term is frequently applied to a wide array of mint-scented genetics, it is often used colloquially to refer to established strains like Thin Mint Cookies or SinMint Cookies.

While verifiable information on a singular "Mintz" strain is limited, some sources identify a specific lineage as a cross between Kush Mints and Animal Mints. Other records suggest a parentage involving Bubba Kush and Animal Mints. Users who have encountered this strain typically describe a flavor profile characterized by a cooling, minty inhale that transitions into notes of cream and baked goods upon the exhale. Reported effects include a focused, creative mental state that eventually transitions into a state of gentle physical relaxation.
