Obama Runtz

The origins of Obama Runtz remain elusive, as the original breeder has not been definitively identified. The strain is widely traced to a three-way combination that layers the modern, candy-forward profile of Runtz over the foundational, heavy characteristics of Afghani and OG Kush.

On the nose, the strain presents a blend of sweet cherry and berry notes, balanced by floral undertones, earth, and a spicy, woody Kush funk. The flavor profile generally mirrors these aromas, though the balance between the bright, sugary sweetness of the Runtz genetics and the darker, more pungent finish of the Kush and Afghani parents can vary significantly between batches.

Reported experiences with Obama Runtz typically begin with an uplifting sensation before transitioning into a more pronounced, relaxing, and sedative body effect, often leading to a state of happy lethargy.
