Another version is identified as a three-way cross between Short Term Amnesia, Hindu Kush, and Durban Skunk. A third theory suggests that Ogre Kush is a specific phenotype of Sensi Star, a strain developed by Paradise Seeds in the mid-1990s.

Beyond these genetic variations, the strain is noted for a flavor profile featuring apple and berry sweetness balanced by sharp pepper notes. Consumers report an experience characterized by giggly euphoria that gradually transitions into full-body relaxation.
