Passion Fruit
Passion Fruit is a balanced hybrid created by Dutch Passion, recognized for its high-THC profile, citrus-forward aroma, and award-winning performance in outdoor environments.
About Passion Fruit
Passion Fruit is a hybrid strain created by Dutch Passion Seed Bank in Belgium. The genetics were established by crossing a clone of Sweet Pink Grapefruit—a strain of uncertain, potentially Canadian origin—with Orange Bud. This cultivar is noted for its stable genetics and a cannabinoid profile that typically features approximately 20% THC and 10% CBD. Users report that the strain provides a refreshing sense of creative energy and an uplifted mood, which eventually transitions into a state of general relaxation. The strain has achieved international recognition, most notably securing 1st Prize in the Outdoor category at the 2018 Copa Del Sol in Peru.
Plant characteristics
The plant is capable of reaching significant heights, particularly when cultivated outdoors, where it demonstrates a tolerance for cooler climates. Exposure to lower temperatures can induce a blue or purple coloration in the foliage and is noted to enhance trichome production. The strain is known for high yields and adaptability to various training techniques, though it requires good air circulation due to a susceptibility to mold.
