About Peyote Purple

Developed by Cannabiogen through generations of selection from a purple phenotype of Bubba Kush, Peyote Purple utilizes S1 stock to refine its specific traits. The line was later reproduced by STAFFTHC in eastern Ukraine, maintaining the original genetic lineage rather than introducing new crosses.

The flavor profile is rooted in old-school Kush characteristics, featuring earth and incense balanced by sweetness. Depending on the specific selection, users may encounter notes of mango, licorice, vanilla, hash, or a distinct metallic, shampoo-like quality. Despite its name, the purple coloration is primarily a visual trait rather than an indicator of grape-like flavor. Reported experiences vary, ranging from a gentle initial head lift to a profound, heavy physical relaxation that can be either social or sedative.

Plant characteristics

Peyote Purple plants exhibit variable morphology, ranging from compact structures with broad fan leaves to taller, stretchier phenotypes. The plants are noted for their striking foliage, which can turn from purple to nearly black, and high trichome density that often extends onto the surrounding leaves. The branches may require support to handle the weight of the flowers. Growth rates can be slow during the vegetative stage, and yields are reported as variable, with the strain being valued more for its aesthetic and resinous qualities than for high-volume production.
