Pineapple Wine
Pineapple Wine is a hybrid strain bred by Colorado-based Irie Genetics, recognized for its distinct aromatic profile of champagne, fermented fruit, pineapple, and fuel.
About Pineapple Wine
Bred by Irie Genetics, Pineapple Wine is a genetic cross between Cactus Cooler (a hybrid of Blue Dream and OG Kush) and Arise (a mix of Golden Goat and Daybreaker). The strain is noted for a complex aromatic profile featuring scents of champagne, fermented fruit, pineapple, and fuel. On the palate, it is reported to offer a blend of tropical fruit flavors balanced by earthy and diesel-like undertones.
Plant characteristics
Pineapple Wine is a mostly-indica hybrid that grows as a medium-sized bush with prominent fan leaves. The plant is characterized by its ability to develop vibrant purple hues when exposed to cooler evening temperatures during the final stages of its growth cycle. At maturity, the cultivar produces a mix of purple and green buds coated in a layer of white trichomes. It reaches full maturity in 55 to 65 days when grown indoors, or by late September when cultivated outdoors. The strain is available as seeds only.
