Pistachio
Pistachio is an indica-dominant hybrid developed by Humboldt Seed Company, recognized for its heavy trichome production and a distinct aromatic profile blending diesel notes with creamy, nutty undertones.
About Pistachio
Pistachio is an indica-dominant hybrid bred by Humboldt Seed Company in California. It is a genetic cross between the sativa-dominant Fortune Cookies and the P-61 strain, the latter of which also originated in Humboldt County. The strain was identified and selected for its exceptional resin production during a 2019 phenotype hunt conducted by the breeders.
Reported experiences suggest that Pistachio produces immediate effects, often characterized by a hazy sense of euphoria, energy, and giggliness. Many users report that the strain promotes sociability, potentially helping more reserved individuals feel more comfortable in social settings. The flavor and aroma profile is defined by a pungent diesel and gas scent, which is balanced by notes of creamy fruit and pistachio. These characteristics are attributed to a terpene profile dominated by linalool, limonene, and myrcene.
Plant characteristics
The buds are spade-shaped and feature a dense coating of sticky, pale amber trichomes. The foliage is deep green with amber-tinted leaves, accented by long red pistils.
