Released in 2022, Poddy Mouth is a hybrid cultivar developed through a collaboration between Humboldt Seed Company and Ridgeline Farms. The strain is a cross between Mountain Top Mint and Humboldt Pound Cake, the latter of which is a past winner of the breeder's annual Phenotype Mega Hunt competition. Despite its name, the moniker refers to the plant's unique flower morphology rather than its flavor profile. The aroma is characterized by a prominent gassy, diesel-forward base balanced by sweet top notes, resulting in a flavor profile that is reported to be smooth and natural. Users report a euphoric lift that settles into focused relaxation without mental fog.
