Purple Bud
Purple Bud refers to two distinct cannabis varieties: an indica-leaning hybrid developed by Sensi Seeds and a sativa-leaning hybrid produced by Seedsman.
About Purple Bud
Sensi Seeds' Purple Bud is an indica-leaning hybrid created by crossing Afghani #1, Hindu Kush, and Purple Kush. It is characterized by a sweet and earthy flavor profile. Seedsman's version, developed in Oregon, utilizes an undisclosed Purple Skunk variety as its foundation. This sativa-leaning iteration is reported to have approximately 18.3% THC and a fruity flavor profile.
Plant characteristics
Sensi Seeds' Purple Bud plants exhibit a short, compact, and sturdy structure. The buds are deep purple and covered in trichomes; the breeder notes that cooler temperatures during the late flowering stage can enhance this coloration. Seedsman's Purple Bud features pink and purple highlights that shift to a blackish-purple in cooler climates, accented by curly orange stigma hairs and a coating of trichomes.
