Sangria

Sangria is an indica-dominant variety released by the California-based breeder Aficionado Seeds. Its lineage is the result of a multi-stage breeding process: the breeder began by backcrossing their five-time Emerald Cup-winning In The Pines with a male heirloom Pineapple Thai, and subsequently crossed that progeny with Forbidden Fruit. The resulting plant is noted for its purple coloration and a distinct aromatic profile reminiscent of a tropical fruit cocktail, featuring prominent notes of passion fruit, guava, and citrus. Users report that the experience is characterized by a gentle mental uplift paired with a calming physical sensation.
