About Santa Maria

Santa Maria, frequently identified by the alias Planck, is historically associated with landrace genetics from the Amazon rainforest. To stabilize the strain for modern cultivation, the original genetics have been repeatedly crossed with Mexican Haze and Silver Pearl. The cultivar is currently maintained by multiple breeders, with distinct versions available from Pro Seeds and No Mercy. The version produced by No Mercy gained significant recognition within the cannabis community, securing over a dozen awards between 2003 and 2008. Users report a flavor and aroma profile characterized by floral and citrus notes, specifically lavender and orange, grounded by an earthy, soil-like base. Reported experiences include feelings of creative and energetic euphoria.

Plant characteristics

The plant exhibits a sativa-typical growth structure, characterized by significant upward stretching and the development of long, extending branches. It is capable of reaching maturity in an eight-week flowering cycle when grown indoors, or by early October when cultivated in an outdoor environment.
